Ush is aware of Joris being called daddy/papa/father by his younger brothers Kerubim and Atcham and even admits to being aware that Joris is caring for the two but it doesn’t phase him in the slightest. Ush has a grudge against God Ecaflip, fierce enough to be willing to strip godhood from him yet when he and Joris are in each other’s presence, this grudge is nowhere to be seen. Because Ush was one of the Bontarian Nobles which (presumably) formed the Council of Bonta, he and Joris had a certain partnership going on with both serving the King of Bonta. Ush and Joris meet several times before the OVA (Remington comics). Ush does not recognize Joris as his father when they come face to face.

There are small hints that God Ecaflip was still around during the Dofus series (and I am not talking about Kerubim’s flashbacks here).

The Gods retreated after losing the fight and their presence on the World of Twelve gradually diminished.

Ogrest’s Chaos happened 400 years after Joris was born and God Ecaflip was present during the battle to stop Ogrest which he also lost along with the other Gods.

Thing don’t really match up with this speculation however. Since Kerubim was Ecaflip’s favorite, he decided to forget godhood all together and tossed himself into Kerubim’s care under the guise of a baby Joris to then remain Joris ever since. So when Kerubim and Atcham began throwing the ‘papa’ title around towards Joris in the OVA, people quickly made the connection and then tried to fill in the gaps. The true father of Kerubim, Atcham and Ush is the God Ecaflip they are all three demigods.

There are people who believe that Joris is either a puppet or an unrecognizable reincarnation of Ecaflip. There are two fan speculations going about:ġ. It is confusing for everyone. I have discussed this several times before but there is no true answer to the mystery as of yet.
